An endoscope is a specialised piece of equipment consisting of a small camera that allows our veterinary team to look inside certain areas of your pet’s body in a minimally invasive way. This can provide valuable information when investigating a range of health concerns and, in some cases, may help avoid the need for more invasive surgery.

Endoscopy can be particularly useful when investigating gastrointestinal problems, persistent vomiting, suspected foreign bodies and other internal concerns. It may also allow our veterinary surgeons to retrieve certain foreign objects without the need for traditional open surgery, depending on their size and location.

The high-quality images provided by our endoscope allow our veterinary team to examine internal structures in greater detail, helping us to make informed decisions about your pet’s diagnosis and ongoing treatment.

Our continued investment in advanced veterinary equipment reflects our commitment to growing, developing and providing the highest standard of care possible for our patients.

If you think your pet may benefit from further investigation or endoscopy, please contact our team to discuss your pet’s individual needs where an initial consultation is required.
